About Us

Every four years, Marylanders go to the polls to elect their representatives to the Maryland State Senate.  This website represents members of the Maryland Senate GOP Slate.

Currently, there are 12 Republican Senators representing all or parts of 15 of Maryland's 23 counties.

Our members bring a wide berth of experience to the legislature and come from a wide variety of backgrounds.  Senators in our slate include former teachers, a claims adjuster, a workers' compensation attorney, a corner store owner, a technology expert for a Fortune 500 company, a town manager, and staffer for a government think tank and more. 

The Maryland Senate GOP Slate is led by Senator Nancy Jacobs (Harford and Cecil Counties) as Minority Leader and Senator E.J. Pipkin (Upper Eastern Shore)  as Minority Whip.
