O'Malley in Iraq - Refuses to Take Stand Against Terrorist Trials in MD
After President Obama decided that the trials of the 9/11 terrorists would not be held in New York City, White House advisors stated that the opinions of local authorities would be taken into consideration as the Justice Department selects a domestic location for the trials. The Maryland Senate Republican Caucus has urged Governor Martin O’Malley to insure the safety of Maryland’s citizens by respectfully declining and removing Maryland from consideration by the Justice Department.
